Prepress & Operations Support

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Prepress & Operations coordinator to join a well-established and innovative Australian manufacturer specialising in high-quality flexible packaging solutions, including films, bags, perforation, and printing services.

You will support the seamless integration between the pre-press and production departments. In this vital role, you will help ensure the efficient processing of artwork files and manufacturing documentation, contributing to the timely delivery of high-quality printed packaging solutions. Your collaborative approach will enable effective communication between design, pre-press, and production teams, ensuring accuracy across all stages of the workflow.

The Role:

• Artwork File Preparation: Process and prepare artwork files to ensure they meet print specifications and production requirements.
• Manufacturing Order Management: Create and maintain accurate Manufacturing Orders (MOs), ensuring all job details are clear and production-ready.
• Proofing Coordination: Manage artwork proofing and revisions in collaboration with internal teams and clients to ensure timely approvals.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Assist in resolving file issues and supporting pre-press equipment/software functionality.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Liaise across departments to maintain clear communication and support the smooth flow of projects from concept to completion.

The Person & Skills Required:

• Prior experience in a pre-press or production coordination role within the print or packaging industry.
• Strong familiarity with manufacturing documentation and workflow management.
• Solid understanding of print production processes, including colour control and both offset and flexographic methods.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to anticipate and address potential production issues.
• Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects with varying timelines.
• Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with clients.
